Stripe Payments in PHP

Monday, May 4th, 2020 | News

I’m pleased to announce my new course, Stripe Payments in PHP. It’s a 90-minute course that covers Stripe Checkout, API, Elements and Stripe.js: all the options you may want to use for integrating Stripe Payments into your website.

There are a couple of Stripe courses out there already. But a lot of them haven’t been updated for years and that is a problem because the EU is currently bringing in new some payment regulations across Europe called “Secure Customer Authentication”. This is a two-factor payment authorisation system in which your bank will text you a code (which is why your bank or credit card provider may have been nagging you to update your mobile number).

This course is fully up-to-date with Stripe’s new SCA-compliant APIs, as well as covering digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Google Tag Manager course

Saturday, April 18th, 2020 | News

I’ve launched my latest course, Google Tag Manager for Developers. It is predominantly aimed at web developers who want to save time but is also suitable for digital marketers and entrepreneurs who manage their own websites.

Google Tag Manager is a platform that allows you to quickly and easily manage analytics scripts and pixels. Even as a developer, who could write it all myself, I use Google Tag Manager to save valuable time and effort. The course covers getting setup, using some of the advanced features, and integrating Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel.

Sport Psychology for Triathletes

Wednesday, November 27th, 2019 | News

One of the reasons I have been so busy is that earlier this month, I launched my new course Sport Psychology for Triathletes course.

This is unlike anything I have done before: it goes into more depth and it is taught “live”, so they are not live lessons, but we onboard everyone with a questionnaire and adapt the content around the cohort of students, and then the lessons as produced each week. It has been a lot of of work but I’m very pleased with the quality so far.

Our first-class of students will graduate in February and I am already looking forward to welcoming the second class in, as well as the many other exciting courses we will be announcing over at Resilient.
