I recently washed a Channel 4 documentary on Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. While I had heard all about the exposing of the Iraq War Logs and a lot of the surrounding fall out, I was somewhat shocked at some of the footage shown in the documentary. I wondered how many other people had seen it, so I thought I would post the YouTube on here.
Great video from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, discussing how quickly some individuals can be at associating actions a different religion, but rather slower when it comes to their own.
Eli Pariser recently gave an interesting talk at TED about the way the internet is becoming more and more personalised – filtering so we see more of the stuff we want to see, and less of the stuff we don’t. He argues this can be a bad thing as it means we don’t see the other side of the argument.
One of the most interesting statistics given in the talk is that Google use 57 different factors to personalise your results, including many used even when you’re not logged in. That really must make your job a whole lot more complex if you work in SEO ;).

Here is a video that has been sitting around for a while. A few months back a made rather interesting order off CafePress which I like to call "The Fonze" t-shirt. Basically it’s a t-shirt with Fonz’s head on.
Anyway we filmed it (as you have to do when you spend that much money on a gag) and while I was routing round I came accross the footage on one of my old tapes. So where else would I dump it but here :P?

This some footage I originally shot to put together on a DVD but this late after Red Nose day (I didn’t have time despite my efforts to get it ready on the day) there seems little point. The footage, which is of JT’s effort towards the day in the form of a sponsered cyclathon (which raised quite a bit of money I beleive), is too valuable to go to waste so I thought I would share it with you lot.
