Sunday was our last Sunday outing with Felix for a while :(. Indeed such a special occasion such that it was I had to reschedule my previously arranged date (ha, it just couldn’t fit togethey any better could it :p ) so see Felix off.

Then we went to Nando’s.

Just Nando’s.

It’s a sad state, but the excitement has gone. Living 100m from Nando’s means that it is still very much enjoyable but not quite as magical as it once was. I am only one more stamp away from being able to claim my free whole chicken!

Felix himself is off to go on to bigger and better things. Or he was when he was planning to go to Cardiff University, now he’s going to Hull so arguably it’s more of a sideways movement from McDonald’s 😀 . I love you Felix, come back soon!

We headed over to Aagrah in the city centre on Thursday to celebrate Felix’s birthday. Overall I was quite impressed the service was fast though a little over zealous – three seperate people asked us if we wanted more drinks essentially in a line one after another but at least it meant we weren’t left thirsty. They did then take a while to get the drinks though.

The food was excellent and I somewhat regret filling up entirely on the starters and being unable to actually eat my main meal for the first 10 minutes after it arrived. Still I managed to get all the chicken so I got the important parts 😀 .

Sunday evening I met up with Felix and Craig as usual. Unfortunately Zoe had to work the next morning so couldn’t come and Becky’s too far under Leanne’s thumb to dare come out without Leanne’s permission so it was just the three of us.

Not that, that really brought things down as it meant we had a bit more freedom in where to eat and so went for a nice predictable choice 😀 . We ended up at Nando’s at Kirkstall so me and Craig could get some more loyalty stamps – indeed Craig had made it as a far as a free quarter chicken. Only seven more to go until the whole!

I started Wednesday (after work at least) by heading off to the brief staff meeting at Colton Mill before the night out. I wasn’t planning to attend any of it but who could miss the chance to grab a pint with Eric and Felix?

Afterwards I continued on my way over to York for the monthly Brights meetup which is always entertaining if a little sparsely attended and threw arround some very interesting ideas as co-organiser Gilly has some very similar ideas to my own (which is probably a very dangerous thing lol).

As part of our social life on a budget, we headed out to KFC on Sunday for a spot of dinner, especially given the new wraps are out. I didn’t like have a wrap or anything but I did take a look at the wraps that Craig and Zoe got which I feel was adventurous enough.

Afterwards we headed to The Podger with Craig having a quick pint before heading back home leaving me and Felix to have a far more drawn out one discussing sex, money, rock ‘n roll, etc (at least when he wasn’t flirting with a certain someone else on the phone – the cheek!).
