I’m not a huge fan of electronic fund transfters. I would go as far as to say they suck. They don’t suck as badly as cheques but still, I put one on Thursday morning I think it was and am waiting on it now. I think they say 3 working days so I am hoping it will arrive tomorrow.
Still though – that’s like 5 days I will have been waiting which is just silly considering I processed it via the internet, the land where you can do everything instantly. Why does it take them so long to process a simple transfer of my money from one account to another.
Once it’s transfered from my savings account to my student account I then need to move it from my student account to my credit card account so I can actually buy my new computer. I’m hoping that won’t take days as in theory I could just draw it out of one account and pay it straight into another. That is, if HSBC actually had any staff which they don’t in most branches – they have customer service people but no clerks in both branches in town which is just crap. I really need to switch to Halifax.

Good Staind song. Anyway, as I’m on the site I might as well post something. Where the hell is everyone? I can’t find anyone, it’s like a ghost town which is wierd as there is almost always someone sat around watching TV in the common room.
I’m currently waiting for an electronic fund transfer between my savings account and my current account so I can then make the transfer from my current account to my credit card account. Needlessly complicated but it will result in me buying a new computer which is good a thing. It’s a pretty awesome machine too.
Pentium 4 3 GHz, 1024mb memory, 265mb graphics card, 17″ flat screen monitor, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, Soundblaster Augiology sound card, it’s going to rock. I’m also going to get a 2.1 speaker system (decided against 5.1 as I don’t watch movies on my computer so I can probably get a better 2.1 for the same price). My total hard drive space will be 410GB once I get a second 250GB hard drive to add to the machine.
I will also be getting a printer which is one thing I have really missed since coming to uni, not being able to quickly print things off. I’m also toying with the idea of getting a PDA as my current organisation is, well, there isn’t much.

Been a while since I posted I think. Don’t like getting up at 8 am. Had stuff to do though, I needed to get into one of the computer labs early to print off my stuff. I miss my printer, something I will be rectifying shortly.
So anyway I made it into ENIAC about 15 minutes ago, there was only one other person here. I was suprised about that actually, I thought it would be totally dead at this time of the morning.
Recently got an email from Dmoz saying my application to become a moderator was successful. About time. I was thinking about a week ago “it’s been months since I applied, I wonder when they will respond.” I knew I was in for this kind of a wait but it’s wierd how I thought about it and then get the confirmation a few days later.
What a day! Actually the day itself is pretty crap as nothing is happening but I will not let this day go by un-marked. Today, Worfolk Corp is 10 years old! That’s older that some of my cousins. That is pretty impressive! It’s been through various changes, forms, even names but 10 years ago today was when I began on this journey. So glad I didn’t miss this date. Happy birthday Worfolk Corp!
Being at uni is great. Though the best things are still being revealed me to. Earlier today myself and Mike were watching movies with Katie, Lauren, George, Charlotte, Lucy, the list goes on. Shame that most of my gender are retards ;). Well I say shame, I can personally see the advantage in this situation.

Blogs are great for documenting names. Just spent a while in George’s room (like Winks’s but on the other side) along with her siblings, Tom and Charlotte.

Xmeltrut.com is heading towards 5,000 posts. That said, the average posts per day has fallen to like 12 (and that is after the healthy 18 I just posted) and the weekly total is way below the 100 mark. Haven’t been posting as much as I normally do although it hasn’t been bad.

Hmm, Thursays are not cool. I had already spent two one hour sessions wasting time (I actually ended up doing some work, wierd I know) and then after my tutorial 3-4, I have to waste two hours while I wait for my film making society meeting to start. Indeed, I am still wasting that time now.
I forgot my Worfolk Pictures hat though which sucks although I did manage to get the first few pages of my scripts printed off. I was tempted to go home and print them all off as I also need to go home and collect some bank details but it’s finding the time to do it.
What also sucks is I couldn’t find my Truth Stakers scripts which would have been good so I am just left with Midnight Heat, Sleepless and Perspective. The other two are old projects but Sleepless is a new psychological horror film I brainstormed over the weekend.
I could really do to have my bank details come through as I need my pin number so I can start buying things with my overdraft and credit card, namely books which I need to buy as soon as possible so that I can get on with my course. One of them is £74! What is that about? Looks like I will be shopping at Amazon Marketplace for that one.
