As much as I love Play.com’s prices I think their attitude is total bullshit. I decided to head over to have a browse through their “biggest ever sale.” I noticed they had Curb Your Enthusiasm boxsets listed so I decided to check them out as I love Curb.

The new “biggest ever sale” price? £11.99. That’s the normal price! They are always priced £11.99 on Play.com. It’s not a special offer at all.

Well I’m back from my skiing trip. I have major catch-up to do with my emails, celeb news sites, entertainment blogs, loads of stuff needs doing. Going to have to do some mad days soon but it’s not like I would be doing anything else anyway ;).

Check this out. A great way to get sued but who cares when it’s that funny :D.

I love browsing the internet and randomly bumping into amusing stuff. Like this. Gang Of Santa’s Terrorize New Zeland. What a wacky country.

It’s well know that the technology industry is very fast paced and all, but is it? Well, yes. But then again with websites, everything moves a little slower. Because it takes time for websites to build up a reptuation, get into search engines, get back links, etc, things often have a much longer development period than it seems.

I’m often working on projects that won’t pay off until 6, 12 months down the line. For instance, my new blogs aren’t really going to start picking up on search engine traffic for months while the search engines get used to them and it will be years before they are fully trusted.

Sites on xmeltrut.com which I launched 6 months ago or even longer, maybe in 2004, are only really now starting to really pick up traffic.

Bill Gates, his wife Melinda and Bono from U2 have been named Time’s Persons of the Year. Pop Sugar have the cover image here. They claim it’s because of the work they did to help prevent AIDS but we all know it’s really because Time want to join Lord Gates before his clone army rises up and takes control of this world. Your either with us or against us.

My DVD arrived! I ordered Invasion of the Body Snatchers a little over a week ago (a week yesterday I think) but I had to get it imported from America as it was never released on region 2.

I was reading up on Google Blog Search after I found that Movie Steak and the other blogs I launched recently were already showing up in the results and it mentioned that it could grab pretty much any blog that pinged an updates service.

So, I thought to myself, as I often do, perhaps xmeltrut.com should be pinging these updates services. I’m not sure how successful this is going to be as there are time limits and it seems to be IP based even though I have loads of sites so I’m not really sure how it works, but anyway, it’s worth a try.

Actually, some to think of it, it’s probably domain based so it might be worth trying to put some kind of updating thing on each site, as messy as that would be. I might just submit them all manually and see if that works first.

I hate computers. I hate computers so much.

I was looking for what websites I should devote some time to today as I have a few new websites that I am toying with but I decided the best thing I could do would be to see what needs work at the moment. So I headed off to Web Host Manager to see what sites I had and noticed there are a few projects I have that never really got launched.

Therefore I think I’m going to be spending some time finishing the projects and sites I have half up and have domains for etc but never really did anything. I want to get something up even it it wasn’t what it was originally going to be. I throw that comment in because I can’t be bothered to do what I was going to do with Audio Senate but I want to get something up ;).

The first site I’ve sorted is FanSites.ws which is going to offer free fansite hosting and also has a fansite directory which could probably use some updating now. I’ll see what other projects I have to do later.
