I really enjoyed Saturday night. Sat in a car park in Castleford eating some kind of chicken wrap.

But as myself and Becky talked the night away we arrived on the scary fact that we are approaching 22. Making our next landmark birthdays 30! I’m almost 30! That’s so old, so amazingly old. I mean, you’re actually past it by then, on the downward slope, your life effectively over. How scary is that?

But it didn’t, it happened to Si.

He arrived at his new flat in Leeds today, unlocking the door and locking it behind him once in. It then came for him to leave the flat. So of course, step 1 is to unlock the door. The only problem is that the keys didn’t work.

So I drove round to try them from the outside. Nothing. Well, I say nothing, I now know where Si’s flat is. But still, Si is currently locked inside his flat. And we all thought the days of crappy student houses were over.

Last Wednesday we headed down to Bella Italia for a form of “goodbye” meal to Mr. O’Shea who is regretably leaving us to take a million-pound-per-day job down in London.

It was a fairly nice place and the good was good and despite me getting called away for one or two very short phone calls the company was excellent too. Not a bad place to spend an evening.

In preperation for our upcoming house move and Oli needing to get alcohol and snacks in for his birthday party tonight we headed off to Tesco (via a few other shops last night) and managed to spend a rather impressive £260 between us!

Between the endless series of deliveries for things we need for the new house as well, I’m rather scared of looking at my credit card bills. Especially as my wages for the next 6 weeks are basically going to pay for my rent and maybe my petrol :o.

Ever get the feeling you sometimes made bad choices in who you befriended?

I wasn’t there at its creation btw, before you say anything. I was tucked up in my nice warm bed. Asleep. Like a normal person.

I really don’t understand why half my friends are freaks who enjoy going out and getting cold and wet when such weather phenomenon arise.

I have come to the conclusion it would be wiser to regain the hour after hour of my life wasted poking people back than continue in such activites. I am therefore ending any poke wars I am currently engaged with.

Congratulations to Si who has just being accepted onto my blog roll. His ramblings have been offering some fresh content to my Netvibes on a reasonably regular basis which seems to be somewhat of a rarity these days. On saying that most people have posted within the past week or so. I might do a little pruning of those who haven’t.

Jack has been deported.

Ok, that’s not true. But having completed his year of study in the UK he has now returned to Australia. And I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say we’re sad to see him go. Blog post after blog post (and now this one) have marked the event and I’m assured the turn-out at the leaving party on Sunday (which I missed due to work) was impressive.

So, the question comes down to this. Circle trip to Canberra anyone?

Clearing out a lot of old content on the Worfolk Online network I’ve come across a lot of random crap, especially when it comes to the CassieNet Wiki. Amist the random stories and half finished articles I found the long lost Sarann’s bad influence diary detailing how Sarann corrupted people. I present it now for your consideration.

Unfortunately some of the records have been lost and it was only maintained for a short period but just look at the destruction caused :p.

Looking back it really makes me think about how much we have changed. I mean, do you remember when it used to be an achievement to get Michelle drinking? It seems like so long ago.
