The 8 o’clock deadline

The debate is back again, should I finally give in and move my alarm call back beyond eight o’clock?

As it currently stands my alarm is scheduled to go off at eight every day leaving me only a few minutes to jump out of bed, throw some clothes on and set off to work in order to arrive somewhere near on time.

This seems like the student way to live, none of this getting up with plenty of time to spare, just jump out of bed five minutes before your lecture and run for it. Am I really ready to move my alarm earlier and get up with plenty of time to spare? It just seems a little too much like giving in…

I’m still getting up at 8, however that does leave me about half an hour to get ready and leave for work.

I would like to get up earlier, but having found that 8 is ‘ok’, I can’t bring myself to change.
