		<description>The bottom line though is that it doesn't affect us here in the UK. I know that sounds rather narrow-minded and in a way, selfish, but its true. This isn't our fight its the fight for public library users and similar in America. 

If the UK government tried to implement something similar I'd organise a protest to downing street, not just "another online petition" which isn't worth anything in the end anyway. 

I think if the American population really cares enough they will organise a march in Washington. Even if they don't, the likelyhood is it will be yet another law that gets passed and never enforced, after all, how many blocks have you found online that are easier to bypass than reciting the alphabet? If a kid can post on myspace, I'm pretty sure they can follow instructions for using a proxy access site.</description>
