Some kind of moral lesson from drugs or such would be possible though. Albeit unlikely, this is more of a mid-season thing so that the show can explore the aftermath. It's not unheard of though. After all, think of the tone of the stories in general. Perhaps we'll have a nice moralistic thing; maybe someone taking way too many drugs? Do we know anyone with an alcohol problem? Maybe a new character? How about a ruthless but charming beast of a man suddenly making an entrance, at the end of everything? A taste (and forewarning) of things to come? You never know.
